On Monday, 11/07/2016 the first harvest of lavander that is planted throught the project ECO FOOD_TURA as experimental production is performed, and it is used as a demonstration ground for the implementation of new knowledge and technologies. After the harvest from lavander is removed any dirt, its tied in bundles and hung for drying.

The sunlight is too strong for drying the lavander so the entire process will take place in a shady and airy space in order for moisture to dry up as soon as possible and at the same time to preserve the aromatic oil which will maintain a more intense taste and smell.

Project ECO FOOD_TURA is funded from IPA CBC CRO-BIH 2007-2013. Its total value is 397.645,94 EUR, of which 176.703,45 EUR is the CRO share.
